Right now, text selection handles can be moved arbitrarily -- in other words, you can move them to any point on the screen where you can drag your finger. The selected text edge that corresponds to a handle moves to the closest point (easier to see in action than describe). The handles should instead be connected to the ends of the selected area, as in the behavior of the native android text selection mechanism and the iOS text selection mechanism.
