When you select Open Web Location... (Cmd-L) from the File menu, it opens a
dialog box and leaves the File menu selected. This makes it impossible to select
the Edit menu and use functions like Copy and Paste on the URL you are about to
enter. Using Command-key equivalents works, but this is a hack. Properly behaved
Mac apps when opening a modal dialog should dim all menus except Edit, and that
menu should be available for selection. However if you want my unsolicited
opinion the open web location dialog should be non-modal. Apologies in advance
if any of this is known or planned.
