We are working on designing an email promotion for the What's New page. This will involve switching out copy and updating the promotional image.

I've attached an image of the current page for your reference. Once the creative has been finalized, I'll add it to this bug. Our goal is to knock out creative in one week.
Thanks Winston! Do you mind attaching that design bug here to this one? And while I'm thinking about that - does that design bug include replacing the current newsletter module on that page with something else?

Steven - Heads up that this is coming your way, post Fx6 launch. It should show to all versions of "current-ish" Firefox users. More importantly, it would be really, really good if we can include signup functionality within this page, sort of like we do in the site footer. We've seen that on-page signups greatly increase signup conversion. Do you think this would be possible?

Just set it as the blocker. When you say newsletter module, do you mean moz.com/newsletter page? If so - no - not this particular bug. Having said that, there is an illustration being designed that will replace the imagery on that moz.com/newsletter. Not sure if I have a web dev bug for that. I'll check and open one if there isn't one.

Winston: By "current newsletter module" I mean the current newsletter module or pod on the What's New page that's located in the bottom left promo trio. No need to open a separate bug to change that.

Steven: Once we launch this newsletter illustration, let's change the bottom smaller newsletter pod to the new Mobile graphic located here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676942
Hi Steven - we're good to begin implementation. PSD located here.

See Laura's comment regarding the promotional content blocks below the illustration.
Woo hoo! This looks great. I love the wax stamp.

Steven - note that we're looking for the same signup functionality as the smaller "Get Monthly New" prom. Meaning, the user can sign up on this page w/o leaving. We've got that built, but will need to use some re-formatting magic to make it work in this new, bigger and better, space.
Where should the "Firefox & You" link point to?
That actually isn't a link. But good point - let's just keep that the same color as the rest of the copy.
This is implemented in trunk. Took some visual liberties stealing other elements of the page for the style of the disclosure box.
