User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.18) Gecko/20110614 Firefox/3.6.18 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build ID: 20110614230723 Steps to reproduce: press Alt + 9 to make a @ (french keyboard) in flash swf Actual results: all chars made with Alt + key don't work Expected results: make a @
I just discovered that it's a flash player problem with wmode=transparent. and firefox 4 and 5, safari and opera. (IE is ok) the alt key fires well but the "@" char doesn't screen, which is very ennoying since some international languages need to do Alt + key to make a "@"
Ie is using a complete different plugin (ActiveX) and this seems to be a bug in the plugin itself.

weird since the last version of flash in firefox 3.6.18 works well. the bug is apparently caused buy the param wmode=transparent and wmode=opaque
I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
