We're updating the thanks for choosing Firefox page with a new email opt-in that is more prominent. This bug is for implementation. Once design is finalized, I'll post here.

Wondering if the back end work has been done on this integrating into Responsys. When I filled out the form, it directed me to a static preference center page rather than actually adding me to the list/giving me our current confirmation email.

This is particular ready, but the updated /newsletter/new/ and /newsletter/existing/ flow is still in development in trunk. I think I'll merge this and other related email acquisition bugs to stage, so they can be tested without the added complication of the ongoing work in trunk. Stay tuned.
To work around the in-development basket-email changes in trunk, I've merged the changes for this bug to stage (r94241). You can test/review the bug now at http://www.stage.mozilla.com/ (click a download button) and see it as it will be in production.
