Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:5.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0.1 Build ID: 20110707182747 Steps to reproduce: On a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.7. Opened a pull-down menu with enough items that the menu requires a scrollbar (on any site with a pull-down menu, including this one). Actual results: The menu disappeared within about one second of opening it, or as soon as I started to scroll with Apple's multitouch scrolling. Expected results: The menu should not just disappear, but should remain visible until I have selected an item or clicked elsewhere.
Did not start happening until the upgrade to OS X 10.7, so I assume it is just a compatibility issue with the OS.
This is fixed on Aurora (and possibly on Beta), you might wanna try it before the fix makes into the stable channel. https://www.mozilla.com/firefox/channel/
Reuben, how did you arrive at that conclusion? Bug 677279 definitely still exists on the Nightly channel.

I should have phrased it in a better, way - what I actually meant is that this works for me, on Lion with momentum scrolling enabled on Aurora and Nightly. I could reproduce the problem soon after I upgraded to 10.7, but after a few days it stopped happening.
Well, I can still reproduce it, even on 10.6. I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of bug 677279.
