Opening this bug, so that we can make sure we have tests created post-merge to ensure that mozilla-europe.org traffic goes to the eu pages in the merged site.

The same should apply for europe.mozilla.org until Pascal is ready to launch the community sites, which is when we will start directing traffic towards those sites (will be filed in a different bug based on the solution we all decide on).

what is the status of this bug? The Mozilla Europe organization was closed a year ago and we have been redirecting traffic from mozilla-europe.org with permanent redirects for 1 year and an half now, I think it's time to just redirect the domain name to mozilla.org and shut down the server as it is no longer maintained by anybody, are there redirect tests that IT wants to set up before I file a bug to get the server shut down and the domain name redirected?

Currently, www.mozilla-europe.org 301 redirects to www.mozilla.org/firefox/. Since the site is gone, we don't need any test. I will open an IT bug.
