Using a tree that I pulled and built on February 7 (after the 0.8 freeze)

1. Open browser
2. Click on any menu heading (e.g., click on "edit")
3. The menu drops down as it is supposed to
4. Click on the menu heading again

expected results: menu closes
actual results: menu remains dropped down

This is a recent regression.

Have no idea what component this belongs to so I'm starting with
browser-general.
this should be fixed for 0.8. over to xp apps for initial triage. seen
200120804 win98 mozilla trunk, all themes.

Actually, you need to click 3 times to open, do silly, close a menu. try
notepad.

works for me, pull from 2/7/01 on win2k. anyone?
Win2K with 2/08 build, and the menus do not close as they as suppose to.

I tried this on other applications, and some of them close the menu on the
second click, and others such as Word close on the third click.
ok, you win. i guess my build wasn't up to date. i didn't change anything...dean?
was this a side-effect of your fix for the context menus?
dean, this is your regression. i backed out your fix for the other bug and
everything is a-ok. we're going to land this as soon as we can get approval.
you'll have to re-open the other bug.
what is the other bug that was fixed causing this regression?
Crap. That's 30841, I guess. Marking this as dependent so I don't lose track
of it.
Depends on: 30841
No longer depends on: 30841
a=asa for backout
checked in. dean has been backed out
