1/ Go to the menu "Edition | Preferences | Lightning | View" the dialog 2/ Try to change the number of hours to display to 10 (or more) 3/ The change is registred but is not displayed on the screen (see attachement) This bug is not reproductible on Windows 7, so it may only concern Linux. I use Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:6.0) Gecko/20110812 Thunderbird/6.0 and Lightning 1.0b5
Whiteboard: [good first bug]
I don't think it is a Lightning specific issue. It seems that Thunderbird or the Mozilla Toolkit doesn't correctly calculates the necessary width of the dropdown box. You can experience the same problem in other locations in Thunderbird. For example Preferences > Display > Formatting > Font > Size.
Right, this problem also affect Firefox. For example Preferences > Content > Font > Size. So I suppose it should be affected to Toolkit instead of Calendar.
Product: Calendar → Toolkit
QA Contact: preferences → preferences

Problem seems to be fixed in earlybird, but there is now another problem with "Day start at" and "Day end at" fields.
Severity: minor → S4
