Monkey website for 2 .3 .3 release
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #680693 +++ For making SeaMonkey 2.3.3 public, we'll need to update the website. This can happen once mirror saturation is good enough, though it's usually a good idea to also have final_verification run and OK before going public on the website. ----- Release date is ASAP as an oilspill for 2.3.2, I expect early Thursday by the time automation is done. This needs new files on seamonkey-project.org since the actual app version will be 2.3.2 not 2.3. I'm ok with redirects for some stuff here, as long as we present the version appropriately. (we can share relnotes, possibly even changes page, etc.) If you would rather copy and forward the 2.3 stuff to the 2.3.2 dir thats fine too. ==Also due to an issue in build of 2.3.2 I cheatead with the start/ page and hardcoded 2.3.1 there, rather than using the var in our website template, that will need to be reverted when this goes live.

This should be it, mostly. * the news bit needs some updating according to what actually changes * relnotes changes need to be done additionally (like with 2.3.2) * the doc/2.1 redirect doesn't seem to work, at least not on the staging site. No idea if it will mysteriously work in production. If not, we may try individual redirects per file under the old doc/2.1. In any case, please use the new doc path in the announcements.
This patch has an updated release date (2011-09-06) and includes the 2.4b1 changes. Otherwise, see the previous comments. Feel free to adapt and push any time.

(In reply to Justin Wood (:Callek) from comment #4) > You forgot start/index.de.html version override as well, got that. KaiRo, what was the reason for having a German file there at all again?

It was my try to see how localization of the website could work - unfortunately, I never found out how to make intentionally switching to a certain locale work, it only works with the HTTP headers the browser sends right now.
