Today i have a sync error;Sync encountered an error while connecting: Failed to connect to the server. Please try again. i click the cross to remove the message but is coming back within a min. this is very annoying maybe a pref to set how often sync has to retry in one session?

Thanks for your report. There was an extended server outage yesterday. We're very aware of the problem that the client currently does not deal well with this sort of situation. Fortunately, this has been addressed recently in bug 659067 and related bugs. So hang in there, this will be fixed once those changes make it to a Firefox release.
