Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:6.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.1
Build ID: 20110830092941
Steps to reproduce:
I'm running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:6.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0.1 (Windows XP SP3), on an IBM Thinkpad T41, with wireless adapter being Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini Driver Version 1.2.4.41 (7/13/2006).
When I go to browsergeolocation.com in Firefox, at two locations: at home and at my workplace. I compare the results to Google Chrome (latest stable build).
Actual results:
Comparing Firefox and Chrome at two different locations, Firefox consistently is off by miles. Chrome is accurate within 100 meters. Same computer, both browsers installed showing different results.
Expected results:
Firefox should show the same location as Google Chrome, and be accurate to within 100 meters.
