Could you possibly provide an English site that exhibits this issue?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discuz! mentions
http://www.msg2me.com/ and sure enough, one will get stuck in
http://www.msg2me.com/home.php?mod=spacecp&ac=avatar
and indeed there are some vestiges of Chinese you will encounter on the way,
so do have a Chinese officemate nearby.
Be sure you use Firefox on Linux, not Windows.

Yes. Write back if you don't get "invalid photograph path".
http://www.google.com/search?q=discuz+"invalid+photograph+path"
Please test at least once before writing back.

I can't test this as i can't handle my way through Chinese there (and there are no Chinese speakers near by).
If you could however try in Safe mode and with a clean profile-then we can at least rule out any problematic add-on or changes to your user profile. That would be the best step at the moment.
Have you found any explications on google regarding your error message?

Thanks for checking.

I did, but like I do not know Chinese, and the English pages are not very relevant.
If you can provide a test account and a link to the exact page where one uploads an avatar and simple indications on how to manage understanding in Chinese, I'll be happy to try and reproduce.

Maybe http://moztw.org/ etc. or their China equivalent can be called in to test. Surely your organization has Chinese staff. Else how was the interface translated? Remember to tell them to test this problem on Linux, not Windows.

Currently Flash crashes for both Firefox and Chromium on this site with pristine profile,
su - nobody -c 'HOME=/tmp/ firefox ragii.com'
Youtube works fine.
Yes please get someone who knows Chinese to confirm this,
as Discuz! is mostly Chinese user based.

We observe Chinese tops
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_languages_by_number_of_native_speakers
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_languages_by_total_number_of_speakers
so it might be advisable to find at least on volunteer who can read it in order to confirm this bug.

> Currently Flash crashes for both Firefox and Chromium on this site with pristine profile
I don't see evidence of a Firefox bug here. This is more than likely a bug in the website itself. If their Flash widget crashes in multiple browsers on Linux but not on Windows (as you've illustrated above) it's likely that their widget does not play nicely with older versions of Flash. Unfortunately the latest version of Flash supported on Linux is way behind that of Windows. If you need this to work then I suggest you reach out to the website development team.
I'll reopen this bug if you can provide evidence that convinces me this is something we, Mozilla, can and should fix.

Dan, please stop changing the version field. This field is used to track the version this bug was reported against. A bug is assumed to affect all following versions unless otherwise indicated by Target Milestone and/or status flags. Thank you.

Sorry, I was following Debian customs.
Anyway I think it would be better for someone to make sure the bug really is invalid.

I can find no evidence to support the claim that this is a Firefox bug. By definition that makes this bug invalid. As stated earlier, please reopen if you can find evidence to support that claim. Until then this bug will remain marked invalid.

Firefox 29.0a1 (20140108093909) zh-TW with Flash Player 11.2.202.232 on Ubuntu 13.10
I can upload avatar to a Discuz! X2.5 site, a X3.1 site, and msg2me.com without problem. All of them are switched to(or already are) zh-CN locale before testing.
so, WORKSFORME?

Same, it worked without problem on ragii.com.
My Flash Player was upgraded to 11.2.202.335 but I don't expect difference in 11.2.202.232.

I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
