The first few (varies by page) images load, then mozilla sits there with every indication that it's "Sending request to" the host. (status bar, M-animation, "background busy" cursor) After about a minute it gives up and displays the alt-text for the remaining images. Sometimes images with rollovers display correctly after I move the mouse over them. If I click on a link before the minute is up, it stops loading, "unloads" one image, and adjusts the layout for this. It doesn't follow the link until the second click. On pages with few or no images this does not occur. OS more specifically is win95b + ie5.5 mozilla build id: 2001020904
Confirming on build 2001020906 (NT4) that some images are missing and are being replaced by there alt text. Forced (CTRL) reloads solved the problem. note: this sounds like another dup of that image load bug.
that must be bug 68151
On my system, it's not that some images do not load, it's that only some images DO load. CTRL-Reload doesn't help. hmm, yes... 68151 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 68151 ***
