Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:6.0.2) Gecko/20110902 Firefox/6.0.2 SeaMonkey/2.3.3
Build ID: 20110902180055
Steps to reproduce:
I open a link on a page in a new tab. "Switch to new tabs when opened from links" is enabled.
Actual results:
The page flickers a lot while opening. This is new to version 2.3.3, I haven't noticed it with prior versions. It is easiest to observe if the new page is long. Try for example http://www.ghisler.ch/board and navigate around it opening links in new tabs.
Expected results:
I expect no flickering. When I load the same links in the SAME tab or in a NEW window there is no flickering.
