Details

Make the text served for minor updates ("There is a security and stability update available") dynamic. We're releasing "major" updates as minor now and the existing copy doesn't make sense. In an ideal world we'd load it from the web with a fallback to what is there if we get a 404.
Bug 459972 will make it so that the major vs. minor update text is the only thing controlled by setting the update type and will allow major updates to no longer require that the user opt-in which is also why major updates are being served up as minor presently. I personally think this bug should just be duped to bug 459972.
