In bug 373251 we changed things so that the event dialog focuses when attempting a change from somewhere else. While this is fine for the coming release, it doesn't catch all cases. Instead of looking for more, I think it would be better from a UX standpoint, if the event dialog would show a message like: The event you are editing was changed since you have loaded it. Do you want to: [ Discard Changes and Reload ] [ Overwrite changes when saving ] A shorter message would be nice, and remember, you can likely change/backout the patch from bug 373251 when implementing this.
