For the Firefox 7 merge on Sept 27, we'd like to update the 1)What's New tab 2)Description and 3)screenshots.  The release is set for 8am PDT, so some time shortly after that would be great. 

1)What's New tab 
[7.0 en-US]: 
*Improved copy and paste: Copy any site content and paste to other applications, SMS, or text fields
*Built-in language detection on first run
*WebSockets API: Powerful tool for Web developers to build responsive Web apps and sites

In terms of prioritization, let's get the What's New tab for Firefox 7 out as soon as possible after we go live this morning. Then Beta What's New tab on Thursday.

    What's new en-US and all locales for Firefox 7.0 Mobile - done
    What's new en-US and all locales for Firefox Beta 8.0 Mobile (though the app is still at 7.0b5) - done
    Description en-US for Firefox 7.0 Mobile - done
    Still to do: locales for Firefox 7.0 description (lower priority), new screenshots (lower priority) 

I will be offline for 4 hours and can do the locales of description and new screenshots this afternoon.

For the promo text section, it still currently has the old copy "Take Firefox anywhere. Go from desktop to mobile without interruption." 

Can we update it with the new copy "Get the official Firefox Web browser."?

As per bug 683232, I have updated the descriptions for Firefox 7 locales:

cs, es, ru, ko, it, nl, zh-TW


Currently missing localized content for: ja, fr, de, pl, pt

Please update this bug when there is more content available, otherwise I will not know to update the market.

As of right now, everything asked for in this bug has been done (with the exception of missing localized text).

fr and pt are ready to be updated - localized copy can be found in Bug 683232.

Can you also help swap out 2 of the screenshots (Tabs/GDocs, Bookmarks/Nextbus) and replace with the ones attached (ss6 and ss7).

I replaced the google docs screenshot with ss7 and the next bus screenshot with ss6, also updated fr and pt

What remains is ja, de, pl

Will there be localizations for those languages coming?
