Description

for example, THUNDERBIRD* histograms should not show up when application name is "firefox".

Also we should have a much smaller list when version=="7.0", etc.

Simple measures should vary accordingly.

Is there an ETA on this?
I'm working on this right now.
ETA: tomorrow by the end of day.
Hi Taras,

Just to let you know that we are still working to fix this issue.
We need to do some adjustments in our process so we can get the histogram list filtered.

Note that the selectors should get filtered too.

Ie selection application name: "Firefox" , version "10.0a1" should reduce amount of available "application build id"s

The idea is that any selection the user makes results in some telemetry data. At the moment it's too easy to mismatch incompatible parameters and end up with no data.

Looking at the link that Paula provided it seems that the original intent of this bug may have already been fixed. Still need to handle Taras' comment 4. (new bug?) Comments?

There are some corrections made on this matter, and specifically on the telemetry V2 dashboard where we have a set of selectors that allow us to choose a range of platform build IDs and are filtered by appname and version etc, but on V1 the app build ID is not yet filtered by the other selectors. We are working to get all working as it should and the telemetry V2 dashboard will be complete soon, meanwhile we will fix this in both dashboards.
Is the link that Paula provided above V1 or V2 of the dashboard?

Do you have a more concrete idea of when soon might be? End of Nov? Dec?

The link that Paula provided is for the V1.

We are pointing on somewhere next week for a deploy of it.
