User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 Build ID: 20110928134238 Steps to reproduce: Open Firefox (on windows only) Go to your intranet Actual results: I had to enter my windows login and password while in other navigator (IE, Chrome) I don't have to do this. I tried playing with network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris, network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris and network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris but the result wasn't excellent... some intranet sites worked, others don't... Expected results: It should has connect without asking me anything. I thought this problem was because of Windows only patents or whatever, but if Chromium (which is FLOSS) can do it, I don't see why Firefox can't... I think what is missing is a way to synchronize the NTLM server names as Chromium does it.
I still have the bug with the version 9 of Firefox. I'm in a pretty big company and this bug is the #1 why they choose Chrome over Firefox.
I still have the bug in Firefox 67.
Any other browser handles that flawlessly, it would be nice to have at least an explanation as to why it is not done, or difficult to implement in Firefox.
