Actual results:

The right side of the checkboxes next to each mail message are missing.


Expected results:

The check boxes should have been completely rendered

Hmm... I can't reproduce this on Mac, but maybe it's Windows-specific?

Nicole, are you willing to use the steps at http://harthur.github.com/mozregression/ to narrow down when the problem appeared?

Ugh, sorry.  I started thinking, I wonder when the last "good" would be, so I started with the latest release, 7.0.1, and I this renders properly in Windows 7 with 7.0.1, but it's rendering incorrectly on Windows 8 DP.  I'm sorry, it might be specific to this preview version of Windows.

Nothing to be sorry for; that is _really_ useful information!

I can quite readily believe that on Windows 8 the native theming stuff might be somewhat different!

Maybe it's just that the checkboxes are slightly larger in Win8 than what the
gmail designers expected, and that the containing box is clipping the overflow?

Firefox 7 on Windows 8 renders the checkboxes correctly in gmail for me.

I can reproduce the problem in Windows 8 DP:
1. run Desktop Control Panel
2. change "Appearance & Personalization -> Display -> Make text
   and other items larger or smaller" to 125% or 150%
3. log out of Windows then log in again to make the change take effect
4. load gmail.com, click Inbox

The problem does not occur with 100% text size (the default).

The testcase shows no overflow so I suspect the problem is caused
by the CSS for gmail.com
