Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 Build ID: 20110930092603 Steps to reproduce: I close the last tab of the last firefox window, using ctrl+w. Actual results: When I relaunch firefox, this last tab is reloaded. Expected results: I *decided* to *close* the tab, so I do not want to see it again! If I close firefox (ctrl+q) with one or several tabs opened, I may want to have them reloaded (this is the option "show my windows and tabs from last time"). But when I decide to close a tab (ctrl+w), I do not expect firefox to reopen it later... This problem applies only to the last firefox window. If I close the last tab of a firefox window, while another window is still somewhere, the tab is not reloaded when I open a new firefox window. So, in the end, I do not know what to expect, unless I know when a window is the last firefox window.
