as fast and performant as you care about the tegras, i.e. if you don't care about the tegras, give us old hardware. if you care about the tegras, get us fast and performant.

linux.

osx foopies are killing jobs because of osx permissions and are a headache.
we can continue using them as long as we don't care about tegra stability.
if we do care, let's order these.

RESO WONTFIX is probably harsh, but:

* I kept getting bit by this because I didn't use screen, which is an acceptable workaround for the short- to medium- term.  I also was under the impression that other things were breaking due to OSX; Bear tells me it's only the launching of the daemons.

* I now have positive feedback on a plan that may obsolete the foopies + bm-remote* webhosts completely.  I'd like to run it past a few more people, but it's looking doable right now.

* Given an acceptable short- to medium- term solution, and a potentially bright long-term solution, I don't think we should divert RelOps resources here right now.
