Created attachment 566173 [details] content moving one pixel line Build IDs (Win7): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:10.0a1) Gecko/20111010 Firefox/10.0a1 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:10.0a1) Gecko/20111010 Firefox/10.0a1 STR: 1. Launch Firefox on a clean profile 2. Create 2 groups with at least one tab in each one 3. In one of the groups detach/attach a tab to the tab strip Expected result: In step 3, the content of the tab should not move Actual result: In step 3, the content of the tab moves one pixel line (up when detaching, and down when attaching) *Notes: -> This bug is a regression from the behavior before the landing of the bug 455694 (implementation of the feature Tab Animation) -> The issue is visible on Windows only. The content doesn't move when detaching/attaching tabs on Linux or Mac -> Here you can see a screen video of the issue
In addition to what's been said above, the issue is visible with one tab only in the tab strip.
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 I have tested this issue on Windows 7 x32/x64 with the latest Firefox release (46.0.1, Build ID: 20160502172042) and the latest Nightly (49.0a1, Build ID: 20160525030215) and could not reproduce it. I've followed the STR from comment 0 and when I've detach/attach a tab from the tab strip, the content of the tab didn't move. I have tested this also on Windows 10 with different customization options (Menu Bar, Bookmark bar on/off) and still could not reproduce it. Is this still reproducible on your end? Can you please retest this using the latest Firefox release and the latest Nightly build and report back the results?
