Device: LG Optimus 2X
OS: Android 2.2

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to sync
2. Select "I'm not near my computer"
3. Complete the fields accordingly 

Expected results:
Fennec should connect and sync your data

Actual results:
Sync is not performed even if you tap repeatedly on Sync Now button

Notes:
When connecting with the j-pake sync is done but tapping on desktop tab in awesomescreen does not trigger any action.

Please check the Sync log (about:sync-log), and paste/attach its in this bug when you attempt to Sync.

This is one of the sync logs that I saw there, the problem is that I can't reproduce it anymore and earlier it happened on 2 phones. 

Desktop tab problem is present all the time, this might be a regression from bug 645694.

This looks like a straight-up auth failure (wrong password for that user).

And the user is not properly notified of the failure because of bug 694311.

Andrea, can you test this again in tomorrow's nightly build to see if it is fixed by bug 694311?

I just checked on today's build: 
Mozilla /5.0 (Android;Linux armv7l;rv:9.0a1) Gecko/20111017 Firefox/10.0a1 Fennec/10.0a1 

and I can't reproduce none of the problems so it seems that it's fixed.
