Dão Gottwald has gone rogue and is relentlessly marking reports such as these as duplicates of bug 688395, which he also (incorrectly) marked as resolved. They are **NOT THE SAME**! Someone besides this imbecile needs to get in here and acknowledge this problem. Stop trying to "shove it under the rug", so to speak. You guys broke it, now fix it!

Nice, lock me out of my account and then post anonymously.
I know who you are, and I looked at your Point 2.2
You're clearly not a "respected project contributor"; you are an inconsiderate, arrogant, USELESS dev who thinks he a big-shot. The rest is invalid.
However, "Unless you have further important evidence[...]" is a problem. See, I posted import evidence, and you IGNORED it. The original bug report was way off the mark so you decided so just ignore the real problem when it came up.
IT HAS WORKED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF FIREFOX
NOW IT DOESN'T
FIX IT PLEASE
