Firefox 6.0. Mac OS X. I have a page. I select some stuff. I right-click : View source of selection. I get a new window, with the source code. I want a new window, empty. I press Apple N. Expected result : as usually, I get a new empty window. Actual result : nothing. I look in the File menu. Expected result : as usually, I find "New window". Actual result : there is no "New window". Please unblock this feature. I see no reason to forbid creating a new window in this way here. I am persevering, so I manage to create my new window, thanks to Firefox's Dock menu, right click. And it is working fine.
Does not depend on bug 584031, in my opinion. And actually, I prefer the source in a window, as it is now, than in a tab. See : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=584031#c19
