Details

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:10.0a1) Gecko/20111020 Firefox/10.0a1 Firefox 3.6.23 on Windows XP SP 3 32-bit After uninstalling a built-in OpenSearch searchengine (example: "Wikipedia (en)"), it is not possible to install it from the menu of the search bar while having open http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Installing the German Wikipedia search engine works. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Hauptseite If the German Firefox has been installed, the German Wikipedia won't install, but the English one will work. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create new profile. 2. From the search bar dropdown, select "Manage search engines". 3. Delete "Wikipedia (language code)". 4. Open Wikipedia in the language the search engine offered. 5. Check the search bar dropdown for the search engine install offer. Additional information: The search engines can be restored from the "Manage search engines" dialog, but this will restore all built-in search engines.
