Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Fennec
2. Go to Preferences
3. Enable and add a Master Password
4. Restart Fennec
5. Go to Preferences
6. Connect to Sync
7. When Master Password popup is triggered, just tap the OK button

Expected result:
At step 7, the OK button is grayed out until the correct password is typed. Sync should not start until the Master Password is confirmed.

Actual result:
At step 7, the OK button is active. After step 7, the Master Password popup is dismissed and Sync is performed.

Can you verify if a Sync is actually performed or if it's merely faulty misleading UI. Please check the sync logs, and post what you see after you dismiss the master password prompt.

After the Master Password popup was dismissed by just tapping the OK button, Sync status is "in progress". I'm able to see my remote Desktop opened tabs, bookmarks, history and other Sync data. Please let me know if I could provide more information for this issue.

Please verify what happens on desktop Firefox proper too in this case.

We don't sync passwords with the master password enabled any more.
