Steps to reproduce:
Tried to view any email by clicking on it
Actual results:
Seamonkey crashes
Expected results:
Should have displayed te email in the preview window.
Rebooted etc, upgraded to 2.4, still same problem. Tried Thunderbird, which alows viewing, but crashes on Reply.

Re-installed 2.2 and now it seems to run OK.

Moving to MailNews core since the problem also occurs in Thunderbird.

David, can you still reproduce this crash?
As far as I can tell crash stats, you are the only person to have experience this crash since filing the bug. And for Thunderbird, I find no crashes newer than version 3.1.16

I don't find a thunderbird crash in that time frame of comment 0 for MsgEscapeURL(nsACString_internal const&, unsigned int, nsACString_internal&). So either the crash didn't get recorded, or the signature was different from SM.
