Jan Krag has translated SeaMonkey into Danish. I am filing this bug to get the localization set up, as requested by Justin Wood.

I would like to have someone help me to transform Jan's translation of the XPI language pack into something which I can commit to our Danish HG repository (language code "da").

I would also like the dashboard to be set up for Danish SeaMonkey.
Jan/Jesper,

Do we expect this localization to be release-ready, or should it be considered "beta" quality at present? Do we also expect to be able to have localization updates every 6 or so weeks so we can continue offering your users the same quality of SeaMonkey for your language?

Jan,
Do you think, if I or someone help direct you along, (and help in practice directly) that you would be able to own the SeaMonkey danish l10n. And be responsive to issues, etc.

Axel,
Do we need any direct code/config-support for the dashboard? If so can you own doing it?

KaiRo,
Any chance you can checkin an all-locales change to trunk and aurora branches for da for me. (I don't want it in shipped locales until we are sure that aurora looks good and I get answers to the above).
The dashboard picks up all-locales still. For Firefox, all-locales doesn't get used in the regular builds no more, did SM pick that up?
It seems like Jan would like to communicate in Danish, so I will try to forward what he said.

Maybe. I think we would need to have the infrastructure up and run with it for a cycle or two before we can say with more certainty that it will work.

I have already said to Jan that I will try to help the best I can with any technical and process matters.
Sorry for the delay in this I thought I already fixed it.

Tomorrows nightlies on trunk and aurora should _attempt_ to build with Danish and do compare-locales/l10n-merge on it. I forget the timing of the l10n dashboard with regard to this file though.
