When I visit the SVG project's page and click on the dinosaur, it tells me that Mozilla can't display the mime type image/svg+xml. I have also tried to go to Adobe's SVG Viewer site, and their SVG doesn't display either. I'm using the Mozilla 0.8 build with MathML and SVG enabled.
Severity: normal → blocker
Reporter is this still a problem with the latest nightlies?
Severity: blocker → major
ksosez: Yeah - mozilla doesn't recognise the svg mimetypes yet. They have to be text/xml, with a silly (incorrect) namespace as well.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
This is still not fixed in Mozilla 0.9.1. I'm running Build ID 2001060703.
Still not fixed in the MathML/SVG build of Mozilla 0.9.3 {Build ID: 2001080716} Then again, MathML doesn't display either. Why is there a MathML/SVG build if it doesn't display MathML or SVG?
This (and much more!) has been fixed on the SVG_20010721_BRANCH, which will probably be merged shortly after 0.9.4. This particular image has a problem with the mimetype, as well - see bug 94925.
Depends on: 80142, 94925
Marked INVALID for the SVG branch
