Details

Running 14.062e and XFile 1.4, filenames listed are not selectable when file -> save as is selected. If you want to overwrite an existing file, the whole file name must be typed in from scratch unless the URL name is the same as the desired file name. This also applies when "save this image" is selected from right click menu.
should mozilla be qa or assignee?

It's broke worse now in 2001050812. Now instead of XFILE there's an ugly tiny disgusting windoze like dialog that won't let me save anywhere except on the drive where the profile data is located.
That disgusting windoze-like dialog is gone, but existing files still cannot be chosen from the X-File save-as dialog in 2001060817.
Existing files still cannot be chosen from the X-File save-as dialog in 3 Aug build 0000000000
Still broken in 2001100111
spam: over to File Handling. i have not changed the assigned developer [or the other fields for that matter], so if anyone realizes that a bug should have a more appropriate owner, go ahead and change it. :)

Broke worse again in 2002011416. Now always begins in \Mozilla\bin directory instead of letting XFile remember last.
I'll look at this, but it is certainly not broken worse than before. You can now select from the listbox just like you want. As far as xfile remembering the last file, mozilla passes in a filename. If XFile isn't smart enough to figure out that we just passed in a filename and nothing else, that's an Xfile bug, not ours
Filenames no longer greyed out. Original (title) bug fixed.
