Details

I encountered this little bug in Firefox 7.0.1 on Mac OS X. I type some characters in the address bar, and before the suggestions have time to come, I quickly click the Window menu. So the Window menu displays. Then, the suggestions appear in front of the menu. I move in the Window menu, the menu is working, I even select entries which are partially hidden by the suggestions, and the suggestions stay in front of the menu. This is incorrect. Instead, the Window menu must stay entirely at the front, and the suggestions must either not appear at all or appear in the background. Thanks for fixing this little bug. Nicolas
Summary: Address bar suggestions come in front of menu → Address bar suggestions come in front of Window menu
Now I encounter this bug in Firefox 16.0.2, on Linux. I paste some text in the address bar, by pressing Ctrl V or by right click. I quickly click on the History menu. I get the History menu, but then the address bar suggestions appear. I still have the History menu (which is good), but the address bar suggestions float above it (which is bad).

The bug also occurs with the search field suggestions in Firefox 23.0.1 Mac. See screen photo : http://pbrd.co/14tKZMf
