signature URL links in topcrash page fail with "no reports in the time period specified"

1. visit https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/topcrasher/byversion/Thunderbird/8.0
2. click any signature for example https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?range_value=7&range_unit=days&date=2011-11-08&signature=cairo_d2d_present_backbuffer&version=Thunderbird%3A8.0

And I think the crash counts have stagnated at some point during the day.

but https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/topcrasher/byversion/Thunderbird/7.0.1 seems fine
This sounds to me like the date mismatch bug. What is "the time period specified" that is listed there?

And topcrashers are only generated once a day for the last UTC day nowadays.

Bah, that answers my question anyhow. And yes, it's that date mismatch bug I was talking about. This actually looks for the 7 days leading up to (the start of) 2011-11-08 when the correct query would be for the 7 days leading up to "the end of 2011-11-08", which actually is 2011-11-09 (00:00:00).

With that, marking as a dupe of the existing report for this date mismatch.

It doesn't give a TOD. Just the date

Results within 7 days of 2011-11-08, and the version is one of Thunderbird:8.0 and the crashing process was of any type.

There were no reports in the time period specified. Please choose a different time period or use advanced search to select a custom time period.

Yes, realized that from the URL, it's this date mismatch thing.

We decided that it's best to use searches for that.
