Having about:support on mobile browsers should be very helpful, but it seems it doesn't show the location where the user data is stored on, and the button to open that folder doesn't seems to open that folder either. Steps to reproduce: a. open about:support b. click on the 'Open Containing Folder' button Current result: Nothing happened. Expected result: Show folder content, or at least let us know where it is stored so we could manually navigate to that folder from a file manager application or from the computer when the phone is mounted to it. Tested on Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv7l; rv:11.0a1) Gecko/20111112 Firefox/11.0a1 Fennec/11.0a1 on Samsung Galaxy S 2 with stock ROM.
By default the user data is not stored in a location the user can reach. As for opening the folder location that is hard/impossible as there is no standard file browser as part of the Android OS.
OS: Linux → Android
Hardware: x86 → ARM
(In reply to Kevin Brosnan [:kbrosnan] from comment #1) > By default the user data is not stored in a location the user can reach. Then the button is not useful at all. Maybe we should print "Internal memory" and hide the button? Also, I think if it'd be very useful if we will have a UI for changing the profile folder location, as most devices have large storage attached to the device than /system/.
