Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:10.0a2) Gecko/20111121 Firefox/10.0a2
Build ID: 20111121042024
Steps to reproduce:
Based on forum discussion http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2357723 I tried to connect to https://extranet.thw.de/ with Aurora 10.0a2.
Actual results:
In Windows environment, Aurora 10.0a2 gives error:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
Expected results:
The page should have loaded.
IE9 loads it without problems, and so does Fx7 and Fx8.
Based on forum discussion, also Fx9 beta fails to load the page, but I have not tested that.
I used the mozregression finder in an Ubuntu virtual machine to seek for the regression range and found out that:
Last good nightly: 2011-10-07
First bad nightly: 2011-10-08
http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?startdate=2011-10-07&enddate=2011-10-08
That range seems to include rather large inclusions from mozilla-inbound, but my guess as the culprit is this security/SSL related check-in:
