Details

The Mozilla Security team would like to run a telemetry study on TLS/SSL usage in Firefox. The current API does not allow us to retrieve information exchanged during the TLS handshake. It would be beneficial for our study if we could query the protocol version and CipherSuites exchanged.

I'm not aware of other use cases for this information.
