70577 - Urlbar gets activated (caret showing) but does not get focus in new window

Using build 2001022211 on BeOS 5.0.3/x86.
When opening a new window (or launching moz), the URLbar gets activated sothat
it shows the blinking caret, but keyboard-input is not accepted, so it does not
have the focus.
You must click into the URLbar to fully activate it (sothat it gets the focus).

This looks like a duplicate of 39999 and/or 66698 to me.

ah, did not search for general text fields... so if the URL Bar is a normal
text-field/area, this is infact a duplicate of 39999 (66698 is a dup of that;)
Not to step on anybody's toes, but I saw the bug has been around for some time
now... is this fixed on other platforms or is it really a platform-agnostic bug?
This bug is a bit annoying here since shortcuts don't work yet (i.e. URL-bar can
only be activated by mouse)... I'd be really grateful if it was fixed :-)
(I'm not yet comfortable with the source...)

Blake, you recently touched this code.  Can you make sure this is really a 
duplicate of bug 39999 and not something you introduced?

That's what I was thinking, but it works for me on Windows, and what I changed 
shouldn't even affect new window opening (unless you use Open in New Window).  
Do others see this on win/unix/mac?
