Details

The splash screen with the picture of the fire-breathing reptile does not appear to display properly on my NT, W2K, or Linux boxes. In all cases, there is a half-inch or so gap at the bottom of the splash window that is left black. I'm not sure if the window is simply too big or if the bottom portion of the image is not being rendered but it looks pretty bad. I though at first this must have been intentional (perhaps for status information to be displayed there) but after a couple of releases with nothing there but black, I thought someone ought to report this as a bug.
