There is no Find option accessible via the Bookmarks Manager menubar.  

Yes, there is a Search Bookmarks input area at the right end of the menubar.  However, that input area might not be visible if the user has set the Bookmarks Manager window too narrow.  Also, the "Search Bookmarks" legend in the input area disappears if the user accidentally selects it (e.g., before reading the legend).  

Following the convention used in other windows, the Find option should be part of the Edit menu.

Firefox has no Edit menu... did you mean to file this under Seamonkey?

My reference to the Edit menu was merely a suggestion.  If Bookmarks Manager under Firefox has no Edit menu, the this should be fixed in some other menubar menu that is appropriate.  

If the menubar for Bookmarks Manager is a browser-specific implementation, however, then I would agree that this is a SeaMonkey bug.  If there is no menu item for Find in Bookmarks Manager under Firefox, another bug against Firefox would be appropriate.

Please don't make demands of how we use our bug tracker - no one owes you a justification.

But because you asked so nicely (!), the bug will not be fixed because we have chosen to not fix it - it doesn't fit our current priorities and we have decided the benefit isn't worth the cost. Please contribute a patch if you feel strongly about it.
