basically, the approximate definition for the keyword visible would be bug(s) that can be clearly seen by a mozilla *user* while using the default pref/theme/ui/etc. settings. the novelty would be that this would be the first keyword to focus on user priorities, specifically related to mozilla appearances. therefore, bugs in widgets, toolbars, and basic rendering would be considered visible, whereas bugs in performance or code tweaks wouldn't. admittedly, there could be no crashers marked as visible (i think) because a crash is a bug symptom, not the bug itself (or technically, the failure of the os to deal with mozilla actions). opinions?
See also bug 65558 which suggested a "codelevel" keyword for completely "invisible" bugs.
I really can't see the point.
see bug 87529 which is mpt's attempt to kill a keyword which is probably what you want. If you can find a good explanation for ui then you can adopt that keyword. Mind you, he obviously doesn't believe your suggestion for visible, or the current def of ui fit that requirement.
I can think of a hundred different ways to categorize our bugs and give them keywords. To justify the creation of a keyword, you'll have to show why it would be useful for a substantial amount of people, for some type of continuous tracking, over an extended period of time.
doesn't seem to add anything very useful.
