It's possible to get Nightly into a state where the awesomebar shows something like this:
Page A title
[page B url]
Here's how it happened the one time I noticed this:
1. Browse two pages away from the "Nightly Start" page.
2. Hit the back button twice in rapid succession.
3. tap the url bar to bring up the "Top Sites" list
4. Note that one page said "Nightly Start" but with the url of the page I had visited first.

Start Nightly
In the same tab open Google.com
Let it load
In the same tab open Yahoo.com
Let it load
Press back quickly twice
Click the address bar it is out of sync with what is displayed for content.
