Either Google is giving me, or I have chosen, the mobile Google Reader. It has a list of "collapsed" items, and the idea is that you tap to open each one. When you open a new item, sometimes the entire screen just goes checkerboard and stays that way. To get the image back, you have to make scrolling and zooming motions, and eventually it re-renders - but perhaps mis-scrolled or zoomed, because it paid attention to all the things you did. You then have to manually restore the scroll and zoom to read the article. Asus Eee Transformer running whatever it came with. Gerv
Chris, related to your decoupling?

I can't seem to duplicate the issue. Gerv, can you check to see if this is occurring on the latest nightly for you please?
(Note: one can get Google Reader for mobile by going to http://www.google.com/reader/i ). No, I can no longer reproduce this, although I found a different bug instead (bug 730238) :-) Gev
