When using Opera (version 11.52), the user is not able to log-in to BrowserID on the Dashboard or to https://apps-preview-dev.allizom.org. The BrowserID log-in pop-up appears but an error is shown (please see attachments).

I can log-in to BrowserID at myfavoritebeer.org so this appears to be an apps related problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Opera - Can download it from http://www.opera.com/download/
2. Go to myapps.mozillalabs.com and/or https://apps-preview-dev.allizom.org
3. Click the BrowserID log-in button

Actual Results:
The BrowserID log-in pop-up appears with an error.

Expected Results:
The user is successfully able to log-in to BrowserID just like they can on myfavoritebeer.com

This should be retested. I do not see this issue in BrowserID Stage or Prod.
Checked Opera on Windows7 and Opera Mobile on Android 2.2 and 3.2.
I do see that Opera is insanely slow compared to the stock Android browser, FireFox, and IE9.

I just retried with Opera on Windows 7 (64bit) and I'm still getting the same error. I'm using Opera Version 11.60 and Build 1185. I just went to myapps.mozillalabs.com and to apps-preview.mozilla.org and just clicked on the BrowserID sign-in button. Here's the dump of the error console if it helps:

I think this is on the Apps side since I can not duplicate this using pure browserid on Win7 with Opera.
Let's trade steps next week and see what we come up with.

Yea, if we could duplicate this consistently, we could have OPs check the logs to see if anything is really obvious. My guess is that we will see nothing unusual from there (browserid.org), but it's worth a look.

Please retest and let the BID QA team know if you are still having issues.
I have no issues at all using Opera.

Just re-tried with the same version of Opera as the console dump above is from (11.60 build 1185) and also tried with version 11.62 build 1347 and it seems the issue does not happen anymore. I was able to log-in using a valid BID account. The BID window showed up correctly too. Marking as resolved.
