Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; 0.8) Gecko/20010215 BuildID: 2001021508 It has to do with issues with the Netscape plugin architecture which Netscape has consistently ignored since version 3. Netscape has simply never supported windowless plugins in any real way. This forces the plugin writer to rewrite the plugin for windowed mode. (In fact I have never even seen a plugin that uses windowless mode under Netscape) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Actual Results: Expected Results: The issue has been made even worse with NS6... Netscape has broken some long standing functionality between Flash and Javascript, functionality that many people have come to depend on.
windowless plugin support issue is dupe of bug 56126 and bug 44322. On the javascript issue, Mozilla/N6 by design does not support scripting of 4x plugins. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 44322 ***
