We need to enable the localization of SUMO in Fulah [ff]. Ibrahima, this is one of the better places to get the community to help out directly. If it makes more sense to redirect to another language, though, we can also do that. And, Ibrahima, we'd need "Fulah" in Fulah again to set this up, please add that here, utf-8 encoded. Thanks. Once we have a decision what to do, and possibly the description, this bug will be fixed by Mozilla staff.

According to wikipedia, it's 'Fula': en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fula_language

Hi, "Fulah" in Fulah is not "Fulah". This word is unknown to us actually. There are two names for Fulah in Fulah: - Pulaar (mostly used in Senegal, Mauritania, Gambia, Guinea(s) - Fulfulde (mostly used in Mali, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Chad etc... Note: these terms do not reflect dialectal variations. In order to make everybody comfortable, we usually combine the two words: Pulaar-Fulfulde If that is not adequate for use with Firefox, Fulfulde is more widespread. Regards Ibrahima(In reply to Axel Hecht [:Pike] from comment #0) > We need to enable the localization of SUMO in Fulah [ff]. > > Ibrahima, this is one of the better places to get the community to help out > directly. EX: {message} {group} > Regards Before I answer, let me answer and comment on previous comments: It's nice to hear that you really care about community of Fulah users. Therefore, it's good to have as much articles translated in your language as possible. On the other hand, this bug is about enabling your localization, and I'm CCing James to help us with that. As for your questions in comment 5: 1) That's up to you. Some locales leave it as it is, and others translate it. Also, you don't have to literally translate it. Feel free to translate it so that it has the same meaning to users who'll read that. 2) Nope, those are the tags that we use, so don't translate those.

Not sure why this was assigned to me. The name for the language is "Pulaar-Fulfulde" according to comment 2. This will enable translating the SUMO UI and KB into Pulaar-Fulfulde.
