Scrolling up and down an article on the NYT site today I noticed that scrolling is really choppy today -- even if I've waited for the full page to load, scrolling up and down shows chunks of checkerboard and the scrolling action is choppy while these are redrawn. The choppiness is the same whether zoomed in or out. I'm on the most recent nightly available, and am on a Galaxy Nexus Prime.
Is there any Flash on the page?
Never mind, saw Galaxy Nexus -- we don't support Flash there anyway.

709152 seems to have helped with the choppiness and a lot of the checkerboarding on Nightly, but the checkerboarding on the Galaxy Nexus is still significant. Re-opening for either ICS/Nexus specific work, or as follow up to 709152 since the problem does not seem to be fully resolved. For STR, go to drudgereport.com and scroll down quickly on a Galaxy Nexus.

I now see Chris's comment in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709152#c24 that it's not yet fully resolved there. I'll re-dupe to 709152, but that title should be changed to accommodate for multi-core devices if the Galaxy Nexus is covered by that bug.
