Unzip the (to be) attached file on the local file system and click on one of the links. Links do not have file extensions. Need to create this bug first in case I get another crash where I can refer to this. It's likely that more info will be added, please treat as low priority for now.
To reproduce with testcase: - Unzip 2 files INDEX.html and 3Dfx-HOWTO.html in local directory - open INDEX.html - click on "3Dfx-HOWTO" link One would expect a message such as "URL not found" or similar but the browser just hangs. In 3 cases which I haven't be able to reproduce, the browser crashed.
duplicate of bug #5569?
um, doesn't look like the right bug, but this is definitely a dupe.

I cannot reproduce the hang with linux build 2001-03-06-08. I get the standard "trying to open a file that does not exist" blank FTP view. windows-only?
reporter: what buildid are you using?
Build ID 2001030605 locks up with 100% CPU utilization under Win95 OSR2. Has anyone else tried Win95?
