Crash Data
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-c1c9c89a-2f86-4433-b31a-65fd42111221
Seen while testing 9.0.1 build today: Ubuntu 11.10, i686.
Firefox crashed once after about 20 minutes of browsing with a clean profile. The specific action that caused it was loading getpersonas.com for a third time successively.
Some information about the session
Chronologically: browsed for about 20 minutes before the crash occurred: performed half of smoketests functionality and the crash occurred while loading getpersonas.com.
Firefox crashed while loading getpersonas.com for the third time (the page didn't load entirely on the first two attempts-probably internet connection). Pages loaded in the session: ziuadecj.ro, gsp.ro, liberation.fr, tv5.org.
Couldn't reproduce it using the same session or on new profiles.

openSUSE 12.1, KDE 4.7.2, running Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:13.0a1) Gecko/13.0a1 Firefox/13.0a1 from 2012-02-18, i was not able to reproduce this in a time period of 5 to 10 minutes. During this time i have accessed getpersonas.com several times and installed several themes and then removed them without any problems.
Under openSUSE i don`t have libpthread but i have libgthread (i guess is the same library, "General-Purpose Utility Library -- Library for Threads" this is the description you should check this on Ubuntu to be sure) and my version is 2.30.
So it could that the library is old or deprecated and is unable to handle Firefox requests under certain conditions.
